Radical Macabro wydane w czerwcu tego roku to jego najcięższy\, ale totalnie taneczny album.\nhttps://ritualz.bandcamp.com/\nhttps://www.facebook.com/rrritualzzz\nAfter two and a half years of forced retreat due to global events\, producer JC Lobo is back as RITUALZ with a brand new album titled RADICAL MACABRO. The eight track\, 40 minute long follow-up to 2018’s Doom is promised to be RITUALZ’s darkest and heaviest album yet.\nConceived almost three years before its release\, RADICAL MACABRO is a concept album that tells a story anyone could be the protagonist of. It’s a tale too familiar to anyone in this day and age\, about the dealings with anxiety and depression\, the fight against the mind\, experiences with therapy and medication and so on. RADICAL MACABRO is based on real life experiences mixed with a good dose of fiction\, but its interpretation is open to the listener. Nothing is definite in this work.\nMusically\, in true RITUALZ fashion\, the album draws influences from many different genres but it remains a purely electronic record with a strong Industrial feel done in RITUALZ’S recognizable style. Drone and Noise dominate the sonic palette throughout the album yet every song has its own distinct sound\, ranging from Industrial to Black Metal to Trance. In this way\, RADICAL MACABRO is a spiritual successor to RITUALZ’s debut EP\, the classic CDR\, albeit very different in many others. Like Doom\, this album features the inclusion of vocals and this time they are pushed to catchier and more energetic territory than ever before.
