Funkcjonują gdzieś pomiędzy Hagą a Atenami.\nWykorzystując głos\, taśmy i alternatywne metody gry na swoich instrumentach\, tworzą zajebisty\, minimalistyczny post-rock a’la „warble-core”\, który w dużej mierze opiera się na improwizacji\, teksturach dźwiękowych\, niekonwencjonalnych technikach gry\, nagraniach terenowych i pętlach magnetofonowych.\nIch twórczość skupia się przede wszystkim na koncertach na żywo\, dzięki czemu ich muzyka kształtowana jest przez fizyczność samej gry\, akustyczne i estetyczne właściwości przestrzeni oraz dynamikę tworzącą się między nimi a publicznością. Z kolei ich nagrania studyjne w mniejszym stopniu opierają się na ich głównych instrumentach\, a w większym na asamblażu nagrań terenowych\, silnie przetworzonym instrumentarium i odkrywczych technikach miksowania.\nZadebiutowali w 2020 roku w glasgowskiej wytwórni GLARC\, a ich debiutancki album LP „High Tide” ukazał się 1 listopada 2024 roku nakładem londyńskiej wytwórni World of Echo. Magazyn The Wire umieścił ich album w zestawieniu 50 najlepszych płyt 2024r.\nhttps://ablenoise.bandcamp.com/album/high-tide \n— ENG —\nAble Noise is an experimental baritone guitar and drum duo formed by George and Alex. They are based somewhere between The Hague in the Netherlands and Athens\, Greece. Through the use of voice\, tapes\, and alternative methods of playing their instruments\, they create a minimalist „warble-core” post-rock that relies heavily on textured improvisation\, unconventional playing techniques\, field recordings\, and tape loops.\nTheir output is primarily focused on live concerts\, allowing their music to be shaped by the physicality of their playing\, the acoustic and aesthetic properties of the space\, and the dynamics formed between themselves and their audience. In turn\, their studio recordings rely less on their main instruments\, and more on an assemblage of field recordings\, heavily processed instrumentation\, and exploratory mixing techniques.\nThey made their debut in 2020 on the Glasgow label GLARC\, and their debut LP\, „High Tide\,” was released on November 1\, 2024\, through the London label World of Echo.
