Janny Richter – musician, composer, songwriter, photographer and leader of the band Janny Richter & the hog ranch.

Prague-born Janny Richter is an artist who uniquely fuses the genres of country blues, Americana, indie rock and eighties pop into modern, explosive electro boogie. Straight edge with the look of the most wanted country outlaw and toxic rock star from the seventies. Charged by an urban heart, a country soul. Wise enough to have lost his mind in the chaos of the city and crazy enough to have found it again in the arms of the Montana wilds. His songs are highly addictive and sexy. His stage show is dangerously electrifying. It is not for nothing that many label him as a “psychedelic cowboy”.
Richter is the author of the music for the popular TV series Metoda Markovič: Hojer and co-author of the music for the film Brown. His music has also appeared in Stone Horses and Bonjour Vole.
